Frequently asked questions

How much does physiotherapy cost at Jeev?

We will publish our fees here before we open in January 2027. Until then, message or call us and we will share current fees. The number of sessions you need is estimated after your first assessment.

Do I need a doctor’s referral to book physiotherapy?

No, you can book an assessment directly without a referral. If you already have scans, prescriptions or surgery notes, please bring them to your first visit.

What happens on the first physiotherapy visit?

Your first visit includes a detailed history, a physical assessment, a clear explanation of what is going on and the first treatment session. It usually takes 45 to 60 minutes, and you leave with a home-exercise plan.

How many physiotherapy sessions will I need?

It depends on the condition and how long you have had it. Many people with recent back or neck pain need around 6 to 12 sessions over 3 to 6 weeks, while post-surgery rehab often takes longer. We give you an estimate after the first assessment and review it as you progress.

Is spinal decompression therapy safe?

For suitable patients, spinal decompression is a gentle, non-surgical treatment that most people find comfortable. It is not right for everyone — for example after recent spinal surgery or fractures, with severe osteoporosis, or during pregnancy — so we always assess you first before recommending it.

What should I wear to my physiotherapy session?

Wear loose, comfortable clothing that lets us see and move the area being treated, such as track pants and a T-shirt. Shorts are helpful for knee and ankle problems.

Where is Jeev Physiotherapy located?

Jeev Physiotherapy and Wellness Center is on the 3rd floor of SRS Arcade on Hosa Road, Kasavanahalli, Bengaluru, opposite Fortune Hyper Market. It is close to Haralur Road and Sarjapur Road, and directions are on our contact page.

How long is each physiotherapy session?

Your first visit takes 45 to 60 minutes. Follow-up sessions usually take 30 to 45 minutes, a little longer when they include spinal decompression.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Any scans, X-ray or MRI reports, prescriptions, surgery or discharge notes, a list of the medicines you take, and loose, comfortable clothing.

How often will I need to come?

Often once or twice a week at the start, then less often as you take over your home exercise programme. Spinal decompression courses can be more frequent at first.

Can physiotherapy help if I have been told I may need surgery?

Sometimes. For many back, neck and knee problems, guidelines recommend good non-surgical care first, but some conditions do need surgery. We assess you, tell you honestly, and work alongside your surgeon either way.

Do you treat patients who are not from Kasavanahalli?

Yes. Patients can visit from anywhere; the clinic is easy to reach from Haralur Road, Sarjapur Road, HSR Layout and Bellandur.
